Movember grant to Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research coordinated research team
A research team coordinated by Professor Amilcar Flores Morales from Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research has received the Movember Danish Prostate Cancer Translational Research Award of 2.500.000 DDK for the project:
Mass spectrometry based proteome profiling for precision medicine in prostate cancer
The Research team comprises scientists from Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research, the CPH Prostate Cancer Center/Rigshospitalet and from Center for Biological Sequence Analysis at DTU.
The project aims at:
- improving the understanding of the protein alterations that occur in tumours and how they relate to genetic changes or to clinical parameters of prostate cancer disease severity
