Pope Moseley appointed Affiliated Professor
Distinguished Professor Pope Moseley from the University of New Mexico has been appointed Affiliated Professor at Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
We warmly welcome Pope to Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research and to the Disease System Biology Program.
'One of the important aims of the Disease Systems Biology Program is to bring our deep phenotyping methodology to a translational stage with implementations in the clinic.
Pope Moseley has already been instrumental in the work we do on patient trajectories and to have his US perspective on board will be extremely valuable. In the US the Precision Medicine approaches are quite advanced and to have advice from a highly experienced clinician and now Dean of a US Medical School will be essential for the benchmarking of the techniques we produce. The Danish health data advantages are well known in the US and the inspiration therefore flows in both directions.' says Søren Brunak, Research Director, Disease System Biology Program.
