Mass Spectrometry Platform
The Mass Spectrometry Platform aims to ensure that Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (CPR) retains world-leading mass spectrometry technology in-house, to provide technical support and maintenance for the Proteomics Program, and to provide analytical proteomics support for CPR research groups.
Advanced mass spectrometry-based proteomics is a key technology to Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (CPR) at the University of Copenhagen.
To ensure that the proteomics technologies maintained at the highest international levels, and made available for internal research groups, we have established a proteomics support platform.
The platform has access to the latest generation Orbitrap mass analyzers, the Q Exactive HF-x and Orbitrap Fusion Lumos mass spectrometers which provide unprecedented accuracy, speed and sensitivity.
Mass Spectrometry offers workshops on liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry’s latest technological developments and maintenance to researchers of the department. It also participates in teaching master and PhD students as well as summer school participants.
